Salt Dough (4/30)

Isabel and I made salt dough creations last week to get us into the holiday spirit. I think we might make this a tradition for the next few holidays. We had a good time. We made pumpkins and ghosts and then Isabel got to draw a face on one of the ghosts (I did the other two).
Here is the recipe we used:
       1 Cup Salt
       1 Cup Flour
       1/2 Cup Water

Mix and sculpt. That's it. I highly recommend this activity to all ages. We'll see if we can make some salt dough ornaments for Christmas time.

Does it make your hands feel super dry when you use salt dough? I'm so glad that you let Isabel do the face of one of the ghosts. It will be your favorite one if it lasts for a few years.
