Vacation means brushing your teeth every other day

Just got back from our beach vacation in Ventura, California, home of "Perry Mason" author, Erle Stanley Gardner. I found out some people call it the "land of fruits and nuts." I guess they make a lot of trail mix there. We stayed with our friends GK & Susanna at her family's terrific beach house. In spite of the the mild temperatures, we proudly laid out in our swimwear and marched our pasty landlocked-state bodies into the freezing water. We kayaked, rode bikes, tried new foods (an olive, in my case) and almost got kicked by a bum while maneuvering my novelty four-wheel bike in Santa Barbara.
